From an early age I was taught to do things for myself. After agricultural college and a time as a journalist, I set up a PR business specializing in agriculture. Then one of my clients head hunted me to run a subsidiary of a public company. So for the next 18 years I was CEO in corporate UK. Then, after that company was sold, I started my own recruitment consultancy which I sold 12 years later. But if at 23 I'd have come across what I do now, things would have been very different!
